May cause eye and skin irritation. May cause respiratory and digestive tract irritation.


One or more animal studies show brain, nervous system, or behavioural effects at high doses.

Description: Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate is a synthetic compound derived from cane sugar. The synthesis is by esterification of sucrose with acetic and isobutyric anhydrides.
