Uses:  Soy Bean Oil Fatty Acids are found in margarine and similar fat emulsions for frying purposes


In laboratory tests oxidised and heated (modified) fats fed in very large amounts to rest animals have shown to produce toxic symptoms including liver and thyroid changes and the development of tumours.


May be of Genetically modified origin as manufactured from soy. See E442



 


Description: Soy Bean Oil Fatty Acids are very likely genetically modified soy. Thermally oxidized soy bean oil interacted with mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, but also fats of animal origin may be used.


The product generally is a mixture of different components.
