Description: Montanic Acid Esters obtained by solvent extraction of lignite (brown coal). It consists of non-glyceride carboxylic acid esters, free acids and resins.
They are basically ethylene polymer produced from petroleum. As they are mostly petroleum based, they would be toxic by way of ingestion long term.
